Many people believe that what you eat, such as chocolate and greasy foods, can actually cause you to get pimples, but in reality there is no actual proof that a connection between the two exists. This doesn’t mean to just go ahead and eat whatever you want. You should always be eating a healthy and balanced diet and exercising. Eating healthy will help improve your blood cells and a healthy amount of fat. Those factors have a role in the health of your skin.
You also want to be sure that you are drinking plenty of water. Drinking water is always good for your body, especially the skin. If you are not drinking enough water, you could become dehydrated and this causes the skin to be more elastic. It doesn’t cause acne, it’s just not aesthetically pleasing, nor is it healthy.
Avoid foods that are high in fat, high in sugar and stick with fruits, vegetables and grilled chicken. Eat foods that will improve your red blood cell count and that include foods high in protein such as chicken, eggs and fish.
Berries including strawberries, blueberries, plums and blackberries or “purple foods” are all high in antioxidants which will help to prevent diseases. These types of food are also a natural anti-aging formula. So not only do they taste delicious, but it turns out that they are great for you too!
What you eat reflects in your outer appearance. If you are healthy on the inside, you will be healthy on the outside.
